Curse are able to pull out a strong victory against Dignitas when Curse pulls out the surprise pick in Talon mid. Cloud9 are able to starve TSM of almost all resources in a methodical victory. EG barely pulll out a victory against the CLG substitutes in an arduous game.
-The first game of the day was between Dignitas and Curse. Dignitas are able to get firstblood on a good gank by crumbzz, but Curse take every advantage afterwards. After Xpecial lands several hooks in lane to pick up multiple kills Curse take dragon. Right after dragon falls Dignitas engage onto Curse but are unable to focus targets and lose 4 members while only taking one member of curse.
About 9 minutes after taking the 4-1 trade Curse had set up vision control and started baron. However, Dignitas engages onto them and lands a perfect alistar plus Yasuo combo, but it wasnt enough as Curse shove into Dignitas and Voyboy flanks killing 4 members of Dignitas and finishing the baron. Curse use baron to shove down objectives and control the map, while getting good engages onto Dignitas to end the game.
-The second game of the day is between two teams fighting for second place in TeamSoloMid and Cloud 9. C9 set up a two man gank botlane 6minutes in to give a kill to Sneaky. Afterwards C9 take the game slowly and just getr gold leads through outlaning TSM.
C9 are able to secure multiple uncontested dragons, and eventually use their gold advantage to set up a baron play where TSM engages onto them but C9 peel off and are able to kill 3 members of TSM, and then taking baron shortly afterwards. Cloud 9 then set up seiges and once they take down top inhibitor turret C( are able to engage onto TSM killing 4 members for 0 and closing out the game to help secure 2nd place.
-The middle game was between the ragtag team of subs in CLG and the last placed EG. CLG are able to get firstblood in toplane when thinkcard ganks for nien and they kill Innox, and Helios comes to try to clean up but Nien picks helios off as well. However, EG are able to take dragon and two kills later on into the match to take a small lead.
Both teams take turns trading objectives until EG is able to engage onto CLG in mid lane where they are able to pick up three kills for none. Then EG immedietly shove down mid taking the inhibitor turret and inhibitor. EG stick around inside CLG's base until they are able to shove down the nexus turrets for a shaky victory.
