Alliance qualifies for first round playoff bye

With a score of 18-6, Alliance will automatically advance to the second round of the EU LCS Playoffs, even if they lose all of their Superweek games.

Alliance had a commanding string of victories out of the gate, making a run to tie with Cloud9's success in their debut split. They only dropped two games in the first six and a half weeks. They then went on a four game losing streak, but have since returned to form.

As of the end of Week 10, Alliance has a score of 18 wins and six losses, placing them two wins above the second place team, Fnatic, and four wins above the third place team, Supa Hot Crew. With a 3-1 record against Supa Hot Crew, this means Alliance cannot fall below second place in the League Championship Series, even if they lose their four remaining games.

With second place secured, Alliance will find a first round bye in the playoffs. This saves them the threat of relegation next split and gives them a much more likely seat into the World Championships since they cannot get eliminated in the first round and will only have to win one of two best-of-series to qualify.
