Dignitas end their 5 game losing streak with an extremely strong showing against a surging EG team, and Team Solo Mid is able to edge out a win against a Complexity team that has been giving the higher standing teams some troubles.
- The first game of the LCS was between Evil Genuises and a struggling Dignitas. Early on into the game Crumbzz dives toplane with Zionspartan to kill Innox for first blood. Zion and Crumbzz continually used there advantage to pressure in top lane to open up objectives on the other sides of the map for Dignitas to take uncontested.
Dignitas gained a heavy advantage when EG tried to make a comeback by attempting a pick onto Shiphtur and KiwiKid in midlane, but Shiphtur is able to flash out and the rest of Dignitas is able to collapse in and take a 3 for 0 trade and then a baron. Dig continued to pressure the map and force EG to try to defend, but it proved fruitless to Dignitas's extreme gold lead. Dignitas shortly closed the game out ending their 5 game losing streak.
- The second game of the day was between Complexity and Team Solo Mid. TSM began the game taking an uncontested dragon 10minutes in and Complexity responding by diving dyrus in toplane for first blood to stay near even in gold. Both teams continue to trade objectives with TSM getting more dragons, and Complexity getting more turrets.
The game swings into one teams favor when TSM is able to pick off three members of Complexity in the midlane granting them an uncontested baron. However, Complexity is able to defend their base well and force TSM to wait out the duration of their baron buff. Shortly after baron respawns TSM takes the buff with little contention from Complexity. Afterwards, TSM is able to take middle inhibitor and top inhibitor and shortly after closing out the game in almost 50minutes.
