In a post on their website, Gamers2 have announced the official replacement of founding support player Hugo “Dioud” Padioleau with former Karont3 member Fernando “Rydle” Soria.
The change comes only a few days before Gamers2 is set to face off against Playing Ducks as part of the EU Challenger Series Summer #2.
According to team manager Luis Rivera, the change was made because “the synergy was really non-existent due to play style [differences] between our two botlane players” (Dioud and Soler “Yuuki60” Florent)
Team Captain Carlos “Ocelote” Rodriguez welcomed the fellow Spaniard onto the team, stating that “the whole team is really happy with his stellar performance vs LCS teams during the last few days”.
