CLG lose hold of the first place spot, which belongs solely to Dignitas now as Curse finish the day with great results.

After the three earlier grueling games came Evil Geniuses vs. Team Solomid.  Team Solomid kicked things off well with an early dragon and kept the momentum throughout the course of the game.  Catching out three mid, Evil Geniuses were put even further behind, with Altec's solo kill on Wildturtle being the only saving grace. Team Solomid were easily able to take this game.

Following that was Curse vs. Cloud 9.  Cloud 9's map play was looking uncharacteristically bad and Curse started things off on good footing through a first blood from Voyboy and IWillDominate.  Curse's bottom lane also found similar luck against Lemonnation and Sneaky.

The game proved to be one of the longest in the North American LCS.  Even though Cloud 9 only had two kills for the duration of the game, Curse had trouble closing, despite gathering 5 barons for free and having a strong late game composition.  Slowly but surely, they'd push through the base and take out the nexus of Cloud 9.

The final game of the long night of LCS was Counter Logic Gaming vs. LMQ. LMQ faltered in their play against Curse earlier but were wide awake in this game.  An early fight started LMQ out with a 2-0 lead and a dragon, creating a definitive advantage.  While CLG fell behind on towers, they acquired a crucial catch onto ackerman to prevent a forced dragon.

Eventually, Vasilli was becoming remarkably fed and an unstoppable force in fights, which allowed LMQ to have full reign of baron.  After taking baron, LMQ did a good job at snowballing the lead off the early skirmish and knocking CLG out of the first place spot they shared with Team Dignitas.
