CNB announce their new Coach

Kalec, one of oldest Brazilian players in League of Legends, will help the South American champions in their preparation fo the Brazilian Regional.

Without a person working behind the team as Analyst or Coach since the departure of Diego "Lunacy" Oliveira last February, CNB e-Sports Club announced last Sunday that their division of League of Legends will have, once again,  a tactical specialist working with them.

Rodrigo "Kalec" Rodrigues, one of oldest players of the Brazilian LoL competitive scene who recently played the qualifier for Brazilian Regional for Dynasty and who was third placed with the former RMA e-Sports in the Brazilian Championship 2013 will be the new Coach of the South American champions.

To know how Kalec intends help CNB e-Sports, we spoke with him about their expectation about the new function and the Brazilian Regional. Kalec said "I believe that the role of Coach is essential for the performance of any team drills. By occupying this role I hope to help my companions reach their full potential. Considering the good results already showed that CNB without having any kind of coach, thanks to the high level of players. I believe that with my help we will make the best presentation of the history of the Regional team."

Kalec went on to add "I always believed that I had more knowledge of the game that I could apply when I was a player. This was something that bothered me and can act as a coach has always been in my thoughts. As I already knew and was friends with some members of the team, I contacted them and I asked if they would like to rely on a coach to improve the efficiency of training and the development of the team. After a few conversations and tests, they liked what I presented and decided to call me to stay as coach permanently. Currently I have a contract for 3 months with the team. After this period we will probably have a conversation to decide what the next steps to be followed, but at the moment my intention is to stay a long time with the team."

Asked about the possibility of he exit of the competitive scene, the former AD Carry said "I will continue playing, competing in the Brazilian SoloQ and even possibly stremando some games from time to time. Inclusive, is healthy for my function Coach I'm always updated on the state of the game and has a minimum mechanical level to be able to assess the moves the team. Taking this into account I find it hard to say I'm "hanging the mouse." My plans now are to give my best in my job, but I can not predict what will happen in the future. Consequently, I will not be sure that I gave up playing competitively forever."
