Fnatic seems to be picking themselves back up as well as SK recovering from a slump. Most importantly, Alliance is looking dominant as ever.
The day kicked of with Copenhagen Wolves vs. Fnatic. A huge fight bottom allowed Fnatic to come out on top and started Rekkles out with a ton of gold. Off the advantage gained on Rekkles and the team, fights went in favor for Fnatic which allowed them to snowball even harder.
As the game progressed, Copenhagen Wolves had no way to comeback and Fnatic crushed them.
The next game was Alliance vs. Millenium, with the game being much closer and more competitive than the game prior. A gank bottom gave Alliance a huge advantage due to Froggen grabbing a triple kill with strong Destiny play. The added advantage was Tabzz becoming huge off said ganks.
Despite the huge early momentum for Alliance, Millenium still played strong. The game came to an end with Tabzz baiting a teamfight by making himself appear vulnerable and then escaping with Mercurial Scimitar's active. Alliance maintained huge control and continued his win streak.
Gambit Gaming made their returning debut with their actual line-up against Supa Hot Crew. Both teams started off with one kill, but Gambit were able to ultimately pull ahead. A highlight on Gambit's side was niQ's Karthus, who played well at the many contested baron fights where Gambit continued to come out on top.
Gambit Gaming did eventually become overaggressive, however, and throw a teamfight in Supa Hot Crew's red-side jungle, trading two for four despite the lead. However, Gambit Gaming were able to recover and continue pushing their lead for a victory.
The final game of the day would be the resurging SK Gaming vs. ROCCAT, who have also been climbing compared to previous performances. Contesting towers was low priority for the two teams as around 12 minutes in, both were even and neither had acquired a tower.
As the game progressed, SK Gaming showed a commanding lead and stellar play with synergy that may have been lacking slightly in prior weeks. With this lead, SK Gaming never managed to let it go and were able to pull out a clean victory over ROCCAT.
