LMQ wins an LCS spot from XDG

LMQ iBuyPower becomes the first rising challenger team of 2014 Summer to take down an LCS veteran.  They defeated XDG in a decisive three game set.

In the lane swap for the first game, LMQ got the upper hand, taking two of XDG's turrets for one.  Both teams felt comfortable farming evenly from there until a fight in LMQ's red side jungle went in LMQ's favor.  LMQ then started to dive and find more kills and objectives.

A big part of LMQ's success this game was XiaoWeiXiao's Orianna.  Vision allowed him to set up excellent shockwaves to create winning fights.  The game ended quickly, despite XDG nabbing the coveted Soraka pick and attempting to stall.

The tower race went even in the second game, but strong warding by LMQ prevented Xmithie from getting proper ganks off, while LMQ's global Nocturne and Twisted Fate composition found them early picks.

LMQ continued to play the farm game, taking team fight victories around dragon to increase their lead.  With dives into XDG's base, this game ended as decisively as the first.

The third game went a little slower than the last two, but the story was more or less the same.  LMQ found early fights, and XiaoWeiXiao made plays around the map.  Mor often turned poor engages with Wild Growth.

The game ended with a Mor-ulted Vasili barging into XDG's base and taking down both mancloud and Zuna in one fell swoop.  LMQ could push through to advance to the LCS.
