Fnatic partner up with AZUBU

Fnatic will join teams like Counter Logic Gaming and Taipei Assasins in the partnership of Azubu, likely using their site over Twitch as a stream source.

While lots of controversy has revolved around Azubu, the company continues to thrive and is now bringing in the new talent of FNATIC.  Rumor also states that Curse may allegedly be signing with Azubu as well.  Azubu as a platform is being rebuilt and readied for a relaunch to prepare to go head-to-head with eSports broadcast titan TwitchTV.

As is, popular eSports broadcasts like the LCS have already made their way to Azubu as well as a select few professional players, as Azubu is not an open streaming platform.  Fnatic's General Manager had this to say about the partnership:

Today marks a new milestone for our organization as we begin a partnership with Azubu. We believe that, together with Azubu, we will be able to ensure the best experience for our fans when it comes to high quality streaming of our players. We also look forward to hearing your feedback as we embark on this new, exciting venture.

Matthew Gunnin, also known for his work as the CEO of Leaguepedia, who now is the director of content at Azubu, also had a statement:

We’d like to officially welcome the Fnatic family to the new Azubu. We are honored they chose us to host their teams and players. Because of the amount of teams Fnatic brings to the table, Azubu will be able to deliver diverse, engaging content at launch, and in the future.
