Changes to Royal Club as Wh1t3zZ and Tabe retire

Confirmed by Alex Penn on Twitter, a new lineup for Royal Club has been revealed following the departure of support player Pak-kang “Tabe” Woong and mid-lanner Pun-Wai “Wh1t3zZ” Lo.

According to Alex, former AD player Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao will be moving to the mid-lane position to take over for Wh1t3zZ, while the bottom lane vacancies will be filled by Yu “F1sh” Rui (AD) and Zhang “PandaB” Jia-Zhi (Support). Both players come from Royal Club’s sister team, LMQ Tian Ci.

These changes come following Royal Club’s failure to qualify for the 2013 World Cyber Games, earning third place behind OMG and World Elite. Both Tabe and Wh1t3zZ have been openly considering retirement, and after their impressive second place finish at the Season 3 World Championships, it seems that both players decided to end their careers on a high note. Uzi’s move to the mid-lane rather than remaining in his AD position is likely due to his incredibly high expectations for his support, and without Tabe, it is possible he was unhappy to work with any other player.

Royal Club Lineup:

China Xiao “GoDlike” Wang (Top)

China Lui “Lucky” Jun-Jie (Jungle)

China Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao (Mid)

China Yu “F1sh” Rui (AD)

China ?Zhang “PandaB” Jia-Zhi (Support)
