Game 1
After crushing CLG in day 1 convincingly with a 2-0, TSM would once again try to upset the odds against them. CLG ended the regular split 4-0 against Vulcun, but fell 0-2 against them on the path to Worlds. Vulcun who have played solid all season ended the split 2-2 against TSM and looked forward to beating them in this tiebreaker. Unfortunately for Vulcun, TSM looked as if they stepped out of a time machine and brought out the Spring Split TSM. Reginald would take Ahri away from Mancloud in game 1 and would showcase that he is in fact one of the best midlaners in North America once again.
TSM would pull out a double AP comp with both Karthus and Ahri leading the way for them. Reginald and Dyrus would perform in sync completely in game going a combined 10/4/19 crushing Vulcun. Vulcun would try to retaliate through team fights and would have minor success, TSM would however just play better at the end ending the game 20-10 kill difference.
Game 2
TSM hasn’t played like this since the Spring Split and looked to be a good representative for NA in Worlds. Reginald would continue to showcase his skills and outshine the mid laner with the most kills Mandatory cloud. After getting Ahri once again Reginald would power his through Vulcun repeatedly ending the game with a score of 5/3/8. Regi however wasn’t the only bright spot as Wildturtle would emerge from his shell and destroy Vulcun going 11/1/11. TSM would outplay Vulcun in almost every fight, giving up one kill for objectives or even going in hard when Vulcun expected it least. With every fight seemingly in TSM’s favor and a unnatural 6th sense to know when something was amiss Vulcun were eventually denied a spot in the finals of the NA Summer Finals.
