Minutes after Team Secret announced the departure of Pieliedie from their roster, Team NP unveiled the new line-up for The International 7.
In the process of reconstructing NP, Jacky 'EternaLEnVy' Mao reunites the Cloud 9 support duo from three years ago, Johan 'pieliedie' Åström and Kurtis 'Aui_2000' Ling . And for nostalgia to kick in really strong, Envy also welcomes aboard another old Cloud 9 teammate of his, namely Adrian 'FATA-' Trinks, who is going to take the mid lane role.

Pieliedie, Aui and Envy have a very long shared history together, the three of them started to play together in September 2013 under the Speed Gaming International banner. At the beginning of 2014 the entire Speed.int roster was signed by Cloud 9 and the trio continued their adventure together for almost one more year. In the post TI4 aftermath Pieliedie, Aui and WehSing 'SingSing' Yuen left Cloud 9 and this was when EnVy teamed up with FATA-for the first time. They played together at Cloud 9 from August 2014 to August 2015, the post TI5 Shuffle marking the beginning of EnVy’s journey with Team Secret, experience which we all know how it ended.
Despite the many drama stories surrounding Team Secret, Pieliedie stood loyal to his captain for the better part of two years, from August 2015 until after the recently concluded Kiev Major. During the Kiev Major, Pieliedie had a lengthy, but very interesting interview with Sheever, in which he opened up and talked for the first time about his experience with the team and certain shuffles. Asked about his loyalty towards Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov, Pieliedie said “Maybe I should have left, this how I feel, but I guess this is just who I am. Whatever happens, I fight through it. […] You can say that or you can say you ignore the problems in the team and you don’t leave. “
It seems the time for him to leave Secret has come and him reuniting with EnVy and Aui_2000 at NP might just create the new favorite team for many. NP will debut in the new formula in just two days time, on the 6th of May when the Summit 7 and EPICENTER regional qualifiers will kick off.
