Extreme Masters Round 1 matches

[s]event[/s]The Intel Core 2 Extreme Masters qualifiers have been played all over Europe. Now, the international qualifiers will begin. Below are the first qualification round matches. The first round features 24 players who will play eachother. You lose and you're out - if you win you will play in the second qualifier.

12 players have qualified for the group stage and do not have to go through the remaining qualifiers. 12 players are in the second qualification round, and is waiting for the remaining 24 players to play eachother. The second qualifier will eliminate half of the players, and the rest will be divided in a group stage where the winner of each group qualifies for the finals. The second and the third placers will compete for the last remaining four slots.

Intel Core 2 Extreme Masters is ESL's newest league, sponsored by the processor company Intel. With a total prize money of 160,000 € where 34,000 € of it goes to the WarCraft 3 tournament. The number of spots for each nation has been put depending on the ESL activity in the nation, and their skill level.

The matches in the first qualifier has to be played before October 1st. Only one match has been scheduled so far, but expect more soon. GosuGamers will provide you with GosuBets for the matches.
