WGTour announcing new invite tournament

Two days ago WGTour announced their new event, the WGTour Battlegrounds Tournament. Many players applied and the event-staff picked out 16 players to compete for a place in the big tournament War of the Realms.

The deal was that Europe clans could apply, and then one player from each clan they picked out, should participate in a tournament. The WGTour staff has now picked out the teams, and 16 players from different teams stand ready to fight.

The tournament will be played tomorrow, September 17th at 16:00CET and will take place in the channel #Op uT)choblar(wgt) at Europe. The tournament shape is Single Elimination and each match will be played in best out of three.

The tournament War of the Realms is yet to be announced but according to WGTour Staff it will be made official as soon as they get the rules and information ready. Which hopefully will be soon.

Rules:

No hacking / cheating
15 minutes late = forfeit
All wgtour ladder rules apply
The illegal bugs are:

» Observer on turret
» Allied mines
» Hydralisk and / or worker stack attack
» Sliding command center beside minerals
» Any other bugs exploits not mentioned that give a player a greater chance at winning

» Manner pylon (manner depot, etc)
» Hold lurkers

As you see there are players like KaaZ and Legionniare from the Sandlot lineup, and ash.doLife who came in second place of the second WGT CL Cup. Some of the games above will also be put up as gosubets.
