Right after the clanwar between [pG] and China, which ended in a draw - 4 : 4 - iG.newHABIT sat down with Mondragon to ask him several questions about the clanwar. Here you are.
Mondragon[pG] , leader and long time member of former ToT, probably one of the best Zerg players around nowadays just won his 1on1 games vs Linyu)Pj with 2-1, who just recently joined the Korean professional gaming team of SK Telecom 1 and his 2on2 game with his mate Testie 2-0. Due private reasons he did not participate in this year WCG Germany.
iG.newHABIT talked to him right after the clanwar and asked him several questions :
The 4:4 is fine as well though. Q: So a satisfying result? A: yes, I am very satisfied with this score =) Q: The 2on2 was really important since it would either make the game a DRAW or lose, did you feel the pressure? A: I didnt feel the pressure because I think Testie and me are pretty confident in 2on2 and we do not fear anyone. here we go! : ) Q: Were there any upset's in your Lineup, people whom you believed to win but didnt? A: Well... that's a peculiar question ^^ I believed everyone of pG to win. I know that everyone of our lineup is good enough to win =) Q: Keeping the spirit up, good good! Q: China truly brought out their top, yet they missed out players like W_Y_W, Cos and Super. Do you think the score would've been way to their advantage if those players had been playing? A: It might be, it could be. Only God knows ;) We missed Spawn / tomson / Suker etc. too. Super was there though, but his lag was awful :) Q: You yourself had to face Pj, who recently joined the PRO team SK Telecom along with his comrade Legend)Lx both being from China, did you think you would manage to win? A: I thought that I have a fair shot to win since I know he's not ahead of me skillwise. Though all games were very close and they are really worth to watch them =) Q: Jamie, also known as Midian managed to win Legend)Lx, who as previously mentioned joined SK Telecom. Was this a big suprise or wasnt there any doubts about it? A: I think it 's a little surprise, but I am really glad that Jamie showed again what he can make in zvp. His zvp is incredible strong. Q: Yeah, to quote what he said about the win "it was like shaving your mid-section ^_^" (CENSUR edited sentence) A: that's how we know him! =p Q: Let's talk about some other matters than this recent war [pG] had. mYm, TmG and Play.iT just recently started their own BW squads, what do you think about their perfomance in the future? A: All those clans have an impressive line up and I think they MIGHT give us a fight;) (but actually I doubt it :D ) Q: Full of confidence aaay, good good. ^^ A: ;p that's understable though I think Q: Is there any event that the community should be looking forward to in the near future regarding pG?
