1st person replays?

According to a guy at teamliquid forums, a friend of his is making a program which converts brood war replays into 1st person movies!

[s]starcraft[/s]I have been informed today about a new Brood War program that is under development. The program does something which is really incredible in my opinion: It converts a normal replay into a first person video. But how? I'm not sure. Somebody must have used a way similar to BWChart's way to open the replay file and check the actions. Thereafter the actions have been added to the replay and are displayed on the screen. The cursor, however, is not seen on the 1st person replay so it's not 100% similar to recording your own 1st person VOD.

A MOVIE SHOWING HOW IT WORKS
I was highly doubtful about the truth of this prgram (i.e if the program really works as described) until I saw the movie. A 2 minutes and 15 seconds long movie has been released demonstrating how the program works, recorded with a video recorder. I was really impressed and I recommend you all to check it out for yourselfs.
