The StarCraft community has had a lot of third party software over the years. Everything from BWChart to RWA programs. As GosuGamers recently reported FPReps is being released these days.
The person to thank for many of these programs, including this last one, is non other than
Ashur. Once again he brings us revolutionary tools for our beloved game and it's a miracle that Blizzard hasn't given him a job yet.This new feature is an addon for Penguin Plug. So as well as following the action of the player that saved the replay, you also see the text that the player could see in the replay. It is availiable in two ways. As part of the popular BWLauncher » here or only with the new version of Penguin Plug » here.
Try it out for yourself. If you do not use the launcher, it is fairly simple. Download the file above, extract to your StarCraft directory and click PenguinLauncher.exe. That will start up StarCraft and should allow you to watch FP replays without further issues. If you run the BWLauncher version, it is slightly more complicated, but still not difficult. However, the program is still a bit buggy according to Ashur himself so if you do run into any problems he has written a little guide. Follow the link at the bottom to get to that.
