IA-Newb and his clan Imperial Alliance has decided to start scheduled daily tournaments and open them to the public. This is a very fun event and a great way to get some games in before the end of the Christmas break.

I know we have all the general signs of a newbie clan from the name, but I assure you that we have serious gamers mixed in with the bot lovers. And we have started running consistent Brood War 1v1 tournaments that are open to the public, which we are now inviting all of you to participate in." - IA-NewB
He goes on to state that they run a tournament 6 of the 7 days in their tournament channel Op IA-Arena, which is hosted on US.West and US.East servers. He names some gamers who compete in his tournaments and it is quite impressive, names like
Jiang[tC], Fk.Korn and ZergRaptor. The skill of these tournaments is bound to get even better and I hope that many of you wishing to learn a few things about StarCraft will compete in these tournaments, along with the alredy skilled gamers.The tournaments as stated before will be held on US.West and US.East servers and will always be in Op IA-Arena. It is first come first serve, single elimination, the finals will be best of 3 and the map is whatever the two players agree on. If no map can be agreed apon, Lost Temple will be used as a default.
