Wow, so you guys take the side of the greedy organizations?

If the team is winning, sponsors are willing to give more to the organization, not the players. The players may benefit indirectly from the organization through some bonus gear, more support for lans, perhaps a higher salary if such ever existed, etc.

Let's see... You guys claim that Artstyle, one of the best players and unanimously agreed as the best captain in dota for 2011, is irresponsible and deserves a ban* because he didn't agree to share 10% of his enormous prizemoney.

Navi/M5 would like to claim a portion of the prizes as a compensation for their support of the team. This is really phony because organizations already get a lot of money from their sponsors AND I am certain that they allocate only a tiny portion of it to the players - just enough to keep them. Therefore, taking away the prize money as well is seriously unwarranted and greedy.

You don't know half of it. NaVi pay their players monthly salaries and what they really wanted was only a contract with a player. But, Artstyle is an unstable whinny bitch who can off his phone when he wants, don't come to a photo-sessions with a NaVi's sponosor. So, he didn't agreed to a contract.

So, you think that Navi must pay their players good salaries only for 2-3 tournaments in a year? ArtStyle even didn't agree to steam his games, when he was with NaVi. So, I think, it's a really good decision by DTS, M5, NaVi.

UmD, you have a valid point.

You are saying that he defaulted on one of his duties - to participate in some sponsor-related promotion events and that is indeed a good reason to be kicked out of the organization. I don't know the full story, that's true - just like the people who were bashing Artstyle probably don't take into account the things that I mentioned in my post.

But from what I read in the announcement, it seemed more like they were punishing him for not sharing his profits ( 20 000 $), I dont remember reading about him not attending a photoshoot.
