The Main Round of the ENC was launched with a bang last Monday as two of the top contenders for the gold faced off as playday 1 commenced. With another 2 matches already played, 3 still remain - all of which look very interesting.
Three down...
After intense fighting last Monday, the Russian managed to overcome the Swedes in the Main Round premiere of the European Nations Championship. Although the match ended in the Russians favour 3 to 2, the map score was tied

... and another three to go!
Tonight at 19.00 CET, the ENC continues with a clash between the two eastern European countries Bulgaria and Ukraine. Throughout the years, Bulgaria has provided the scene with a handful of stars such as DIDI8 and, of course, WCG 2003 winner Insomnia. The days of these legends are, however, over and the team relies on fresher blood from Orc player Bianconero and Night Elf DieSel. The Ukrainians, on the other hand, will be lead in to battle by their seasoned Night Elf from Gravitas HoT, who'll be backed up by talents such as Sonik, FiX and Tresh.
The playday ends tomorrow with a highly anticipated match between ToD's France and his ex teammate Grubby's Netherlands. Neither of the countries are considered as top contenders, but with a good start to this tournament anything can happen. In tomorrow's second match Germany goes up as huge favourites against a Denmark who'll most likely be relying heavily on Ciara. However, it seems highly unlikely that the great dane will be able to hold off the German stars XlorD, hanf and HasuObs.
