Blockbuster news coming out of the CIS region just weeks before DreamHack Summer 2013 officially kicks off. The four time DreamHack Champion NoVa will join the decimated CIS squad in order to compete at the event.
Unexpected, but exciting news coming from the inner circle of iTS today. The squad that recently captured the G1-Spring and punched their ticket for the upcoming DreamHack Summer 2013 will receive prominent help on their quest to represent the CIS region well. Former fnatic and QsQ support player Jascha 'NoVa' Markuse is going to be the fifth and final player to join the Russian roster.
Previous to this move the iTS roster was thrown back twice by last minute cancelations and roster changes due to work commitments or VISA issues. Originally the roster consisting off Bless`N`Fire, Love`N`Stuff, Wladie, Dice`N`Cards and `BlackSky marched through the G1-Spring tournament, dethroned Cats Gaming and captured the coveted DreamHack Summer ticket for themselves. Right after the successful event `BlackSky and Dice`N`Cards had to pull out due to work commitments.
Replacements were already sorted out with Felozel and Aruna designated to take the spots. Unfortunately for the Russian squad those two couldn't make the trip to Sweden either, so two new players had to be found. METALLman and Arafor jumped in and it looked like the roster rollercoaster was finally over. Until recently all five thought they could make the trip and be a complete five-man Russian roster - but Wladie had to give up his spot with VISA issues.
Two replacements were in discussion with the team, one being the four time Champion NoVa and one being the former GA.ru DreamHack participant Loki. In the end the team went with the veteran and accomplished support star, but will alter his role for the tournament. NoVa will not be seen on his trademark support heroes like Glacius, Aluna, Andromeda or even Voodoo Jester, but he will be filling the carry role for the team. METALLman and Arafor will take over support, Love`N`Stuff will handle his business in the middle lane, while Bless`N`Fire takes over the other carry position.
