DreamHon Redemption: Group C with numerous possibilities and all teams still alive

Group C completed almost the entire group stage in one day today. Panny Listed played two matches with mixed results. They now have the clash with Pikachu still ahead, while they need to win in order to keep their playoff hopes intact. They main rival for that second spot in the group, PUDG, needs a win against saishii to stay in the mix, but also saishii still has chances to get to the playoffs.

It was the start of the team into the tournament and what a start it was. Panny Listed, featuring KheZu, Sender, fajN`, PabloMcDad and Reelo started off the tournament three days late, but made up for that delay playing two matches today. With a loss to Dendi's jungldevo and a win against saishii the team proved to be a contender for the playoff spots, although they might need a little bit help from saishii on the last playday.

Meanwhile, Pikachu took a forfeit victory over saishii to head into the big clash with Panny Listed in three days. Pikachu is now sitting comfortably on top of the group, while their playoff spot is still not 100 percent secured. When Pikachu would lose to Panny Listed with 2-0 and PUDG would win 2-0 against saishii, we would have a three-way tie with no direct victory advantage. Should Pikachu win in three days they would be going to the playoffs and the other playoff team is going to be decided in the matchup between saishii and PUDG. If PUDG would win that match 2-0 or 2-1 they would advance over Panny Listed, but of PUDG would lose 0-2, while Panny Listed would lose only 2-1 to Pikachu, both Pikachu and Panny Listed would advance to the playoffs. The last scenario would include a three-way tie for the bottom of the group. When saishii wins 2-0 and Pikachu would win 2-0, all three teams on the bottom of the rankings would have one 2-0 victory and two 0-2 victories on their record which would lead to a tie without a tie-breaker scenario availabe. This group could get very interesting with a couple of results.

In Group D, the favourites marched through their adversary with Tt eSports dismantling Orange eSports and completely crushing the Malaysians on the second map. That 2-0 victory puts the Australian team into the playoffs already, as Group D has a similar situation to Group A and B. One team is reigning over the entire group, while place two and three will fight for the final playoff spot in a head-to-head contest in the final week. Orange eSports has the burden of the entire Malaysian region on their shoulder, as they attempt to get into the playoffs to represent their region deep into the tournament. Orange and MuFC still have the fighting chance and it will come down to the last and final games for both of them.

Out of the race is the team from iLight. They lost against the new face of Vitriolic, who replaced Brized with miesty in todays contest. Vitriolic will try to get the second playoff participation in a row, as they will go against Orange eSports in three days.
