DreamHon Group B: TiG edges out FiT, taking over place two

It could end up being the decider for the playoffs in Group B. TiG wipes away the early lost against compLexity Gaming, catching up the the North Americans in the standings. The victory over Panny and FiT puts the defeated team in a "must-win" situation next week against the dominator coL.

After the DreamHon Summer Championship admins disqualified BoCe, the Group B will only feature a maximum of three matches every playday. This time, with coL postponing their matchup against iMpunity, only two matches took place. It still was a huge playday with FiT and It's Gosu squaring off to determine the runner-up.

The playoff implications were overwhelming with It's Gosu being already one match down after the opening loss against coL. This same TiG team now overcame that early blunder with the 2-1 win over second placed team FiT. Not only do they claim the second place for now, but they also applying a lot of pressure on FiT, who have to win next week against coL.

A little bit away, but still in the playoff race aswell is saishii. The North Americans were able to start a winning streak two weeks ago and continued that said streak today. They cleanly sweeped Dynasty, putting the Brazilians to a 1-3, with a postponed match against FiT still left to play. saishii is still one game behind FiT and It's Gosu, but has the direct duel against TiG ahead of them. Theoretically they are still in the race, but they have to overcome coL on that path.

Yesterday night unZ and Smackdown Syndrome played their delayed match, using several ringers and replacements. On unZ's side Revyy and DumpsterDog couldn't play, for SdS Mike` couldn't participate. The match ended with a 2-1 victory for unZ, which gave the Europeans their first victory. Now Group A no longer features a undefeated, nor a winless team, proving the label "Most balanced group" somewhat right.
