DreamHon Group D: fnatic and TmRy dominate - RESULTS

Called out as the toughest group of them all, the last day of the opening week was anticipated the most. Every little blunder or every little mistake can result in an elimination in the tournament. The first day saw no real suprises, except the first delay of the event with CM against tdM being pushed back.

The "Group of Death" kicked off the Heroes of Newerth action on the last day of the first week of competition. After the big shock yesterday with Tt eSports losing to Vitriolic, all results in Group D followed the general expectation of the team. DreamHon Champion fnatic dominated the first game and also took home the second game, jumping on top of the standing after the first week.

TmRy could get a deciding 2:0 victory over Grabblords so they are in perfect shape for the tournament aswell. QsQ 1 suffered a lost, solidifying the 2:2 W/L record for QsQ teams after week 1. Their opponents, iLight, were just too much to handle for the fourth QsQ team in the competition, getting a comfortable 2:0 victory to start into the group start.

The final game of this group, ClanMilk against the new Trademark eSports, was pushed back one day. It will actually happen tomorrow, simultaneously to the second week of Group A.

The postponed match from Group C front-runner Vitriolic was played out last night as well, with Vitriolic dominating the Europeans from Call it Karma. With that results they tie FackyouKurdi for the lead of the group, putting a three point cushing between themselves and favorite Tt eSports again.
