The Malaysia HoN National Championship 2012 to feature $166,000 USD Prize

Garena HoN has announced the biggest event in HoN history with the Malaysian HoN National Championship to feature a total prize pool of $166,000 USD. Aside from having the highest prize pool in HoN's history, it will also be the highest in Malaysian gaming history.

The tournament will start in April and will run over the course of eight months featuring eight separate LAN events of which will be qualifiers. These events will be hosted in each of the six states in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Perak, Johor and Sarawak). Eight online qualifiers will also be held in conjunction with this event. Each of these sixteen events will feature a $3,300 USD prize where the winner takes the prize pot.

The Finals will be held at the Garena Malaysia Carnival in December where the finalists will battle it out of a total prize pool of $113,000 USD with first place taking $100,000, second place taking $10,000 and third taking $3,000.
