HoN to be in Swedish Championship again!

Inferno Online and DreamHack have launched the Swedish Championship with five eSport titles and eight seperate championship events in the lead to a national finals at DreamHack Summer 2012. More importantly, this event will once again feature 'Heroes of Newerth'.For the five official titles, there will be 400,000 SEK in prize money. The event has technically already started but will run with regular championship qualifiers up until the Dreamhack Summer Event.
It will be interesting to see how the HoN event at DreamHack pans out with the layout of the last DreamHack Summer (2011) event and the Swedish championship. The details of the other titles and the events calendar are provided below.
The Five Titles:
Counter-Strike 1.6 5 on 5 PCs
StarCraft II (SC2) 1 on 1 PC
Heroes of Newerth 5 on 5 PCs
Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 1 on 1
XBOX360: FIFA 1 on 1
StarCraft II (SC2) 1 on 1 PC

As the championship qualifier events have already started, a number of teams have already qualified. these include: HoNPortal, Lions, Pappa betalar and No Fear. The names of the teams have sinced changed since their qualification and it will be interesting to see who from the old PORT team will have the slot in the final because the team has long since disbanded.
