S2 Games' Pu "DivA" Liu mentioned several exciting new changes coming to Heroes of Newerth.

DivA was careful not to divulge too much information in an interview with OnRPG.com, but he did discuss plans for adding more server regions, hiring a balance designer, and introducing a brand new game mode.

OnRPG: A large portion of the community, most likely legacy players, seem to be disappointed by the slow response to balance issues and increasing costs in the goblin shop. How does S2 feel about this and what will be your response?

We are aware of the community's concerns, and as always, we take them very seriously. We're currently in the process of hiring another balance designer to help with the pace of balance content. As far as the Goblin prices go, a...

http://www.frenetic-array.com/images/article_images/dhw-7.jpg
The event happened late last year and this piece of content is fairly old. However, it has not been seen by the public until today. The article is a fairly long and thorough account of Frenetic Array's trip to DreamHack and an analysis of all the matches played. The blog itself was prepared by Sebastian "Shinkz" Torralba and David "wyt`" Ashwell.

During DreamHack Winter, the Frenetic Array website was hacked and eventually taken offline. Since then there has been a large amount of Frenetic Array content that has not reached the public because the website had to be rebuilt.

Jascha "NoVa_" Markuse has taken to the public, writing a blog on the future prospects of his team and the community. He goes into depth on a number of items including roster changes, 2012, social media, coaching and streaming.

Kai 'H4nn1' Hanbueckers appears to be a sufficient replacement for Trixi. Even though it's not made official yet the general play and level of skill is good and I can feel him in the team with only minor details to work on.

As for the fith spot in the line-up, NoVa_ states that three players are currently trying out for the role: Adrian "Era" Kryeziu, Maurice "KheZu" Gutmann and Sebastian "ChubbyChris2" Lund. It seems that exciting times are ahead for the Fnatic team.

NoVa_ also announced an increased social media presence with more activity on his own personal facebook and twitter...

It's Gosu Announces 1v1 Tournament for this Sunday

It's Gosu just keeps on hosting more and more tournaments. This time they have announced a 1v1 tournament which is open to all players. The tournament will run on Sunday the 12th of February from 1pm EST.

The It's Gosu HoN Open Tournament (5v5) will still be running on Friday the 10th of February as scheduled however this will add a little bit of extra content in a format that is not usually seen by the community.

As of late there has been a fair bit of interest in the idea of a 1v1 tournament and it will be interesting to see if this tournament takes off. The tournament will run under the rule: "- The first player to either kill his opponents middle tower or hero will win the match. This means if you get the blood lust kill before your opponent you win. If no player was killed by the time the middle tower is destroyed, whoever lost the tower will lose the match."

Here are the tournament details
Format:
1v1, All Pick, Forests...

The CyberGamer Summer League is an Australasian Tournament that has the best eight teams from around Australia and New Zealand. There are a few sponsored teams involved in the tournament such as 'Frenetic Array', 'MindFreak eSports', 'Sequential Gaming', 'Crux Crew', 'Avant Garde' and 'iPlay'.

The tournament has not been without it's issues, with the administration team seeming inexistent at times. Frenetic Array has gone through the season undefeated with MindFreak eSports a close second. Third and fourth place on the ladder are 'Sequential Gaming' and 'How to lose'. The Semi-Finals will be 'Frenetic Array' vs. 'How To Lose' and 'MindFreak eSports' vs 'Sequential Gaming'.

The Semi-Final Matches are at 19:00 AEDT (07:00 CET or 01:00 EST) Sunday

UNGL Nations Cup Grand Final Preview

The UNGL Nations Cup Semi-Finals have now been completed with Denmark taking a win over Greece and Australia getting a win over Sweden. There has been little focus on this tournament as the teams are made up of a mixture of players from seperate teams and they rarely get the chance to practice.

The rosters in this tournament have not been without their issues. As per the tournament rules, teams are required to have a maximum amount of three players from each team on a countries playing roster. This makes organizing matches and practicing extra difficult. Due credit should be given to these two teams who have managed to fight their way through the group and play-off stages.

The question remains, which country has the best 'Heroes of Newerth' players? Which team will walk away with the $700 first place prize and which team will be relegated to second with the $200 prize.

Team It's Gosu beat last week's champions, Trademark eSports, and become the Honcast King of the Hill.

After a very impressive 2-0 victory over FnaticRaidCall, Team It's Gosu have beaten last weeks champions, Trademark eSports 2-1 and are now the Honcast King of the Hill champions.

Team It's Gosu were not originally in the Honcast King of the Hill event, but due to ex-Lions dropping out, Team It's Gosu took their place. Sender, the main support player for Trademark eSports, had this to say about the best-of-three series versus Team It's Gosu.

Yesterday after Game 1, there was a small conflict within the team, and with near nothing on the line but 125 dollars and pride, we didn't play our best and let our emotions get in the way. I am sorry to any fans who were disappointed in us, and this won't happen again. As a...

http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg810/scaled.php?server=810&filename=milkfat.jpg&res=medium
It has been sometime since Sam 'Milkfat' Braithwaite finished up his world record attempt. However his total time spent was 76 hours and with break time taken away from this total the official time stands at just under 69 hours. This time shatters the previous record of 52 hours and what makes it more amazing is that Milkfat did not sleep for that time.

The whole event was run for charity and the donations from viewers reached $3,700 of which is very impressive. The add revenue from his stream (which got over 1.5 million views) will also be donated to the Doctors Without Borders charity. S2Games furthers the commitment by matching all the donations recieved from Milkfats viewers.

Milkfat Interviewed by Honcasts breakycpk:
