HoN Worldcup Ruleset

The biggest event in the history of Heroes of Newerth continues. In the following feature you can see the playdays, the format for each Stage, and - of course - the ruleset.
So if you are a attending team check through it, and if you are a follower of this event, check out the dates.

GosuGamers changed the Ruleset and other organization related parts of the event a little bit for the upcoming groupstage and the playoffs. Read carefully to make sure you will not be disqualified due to knowledge faults.

The biggest change for teams in the second stage of the HoN WorldCup are the fixed playdays and times. Yes, you read this correctly, to be able to provide the best coverage, set up streams and shoutcasts, as well as make sure every game is covered with Gosubets, we decided to have the time and date the teams play fixed.

1st Playday: 26. September 2010
2nd Playday: 03. October 2010

Playoffs

1st Playday: 10. October 2010
2nd Playday: 17. October 2010
3rd Playday: 24. October 2010
4th Playday: 31. October 2010
5th Playday: 7. November 2010
6th Playday: 14. November 2010
7th Playday: 21. November 2010
8th Playday: 28. November 2010
9th Playday: 5. December 2010
10th Playday: 12. December 2010
Due to the encounters the team faces are international now, we provide a table of servers that are most suitable for every possible setup. You do not have to follow those, but they are recommended.

The ingame rules itself did not change, so other than the organizational part you can stick to the known territory.

The last change implemented is the easier Roster-system. Now you only have to be in the clan ingame with the tag you signed up with. Also roster changes (meaning also changing between two clans) is possible. Should however we find a player is changing a clan to much (meaning "clan hopping" to boost two teams) the teams will be disqualified.
