My first upcoming wc3 lan
Couldn't typ the full title, i exctually wanted to write down 'A week before my first upcoming tournament', no problem.
I've been training very hard the last days together with my new wc3 partner Tordyll. He's a nice 16-years old boy from Norway.
Yesterday we've been training for about 10 hours, before the Zotac Cup the next day.
It wasn't the idea of training for Zotac Cup, we were just participating to gain some more wc3 experience, no matter if we would lose.
The next day after feeling very confidenced (exctually i was more confidenced then him, because i won all the matches from him, but i saw potentionel in him, i know he can become a really good norwegian player).
We started praccing again.
I had only 1 hour of praccing before the tournament, because i had work before, and at else i would be fired, hehe.
So we started our matches.
I really thought i could win the first match, i could exctually. I just made a terrible micro mistake with my peons, by doing a fail call to arms on him, and my peons just standing around there, getting raped and i didn't get any income. I think it were the nervs, cause i normally micro good in every game, except for Zotac Cup (i ruined it before in another Zotac Cup, 3 weeks ago).
No problem, later on i just thought this would getting me better prepared before my first lan tournament next week, so i won't fail like that in the lan.
For the ones that don't know what LAN i'm participating, it's the KaoS Gamecenters grand opening, and they have a Wc3 1v1 and CSS 5v5 Cup.
I have to face different very good dutch players such as Sushilicious, Funcakes and one of the best players in our country; RoTTerDaM!
A total of 1000 - 1600 money can be achieved that day.
After having typed this blog, i'm going to do some more training, and then i'm going to the city with some of my friends, cause i need a break of course some time. Tommorow will be the GosuGamers Cup of course, and me and Tordyll are also attending this tournament.
We don't expect good results, but we expect a lot of experience and more confidence after this tournament, which is really needed before my first LAN.
Next to this tournament, i will also have some Amateur Series matches, which i really would like to win, cause i have a losing streak of 3 now, but that were matches from when i was just playing 1 week, so i expect a lot in the next EAS matches. The first matches were also against the numbers 1-5 in the amateur series, but i didn't felt like i was really raped by them, so i'm going to challenge them again some day.
9/10 May will be the tournament, wish me luck!
