It’s that time again, the GosuGamers Weekly NA #12 kicks off in less than half an hour (19:00 CEST/13:00 EDT/10:00 PDT). 128 teams will duke it out today for a share of the $500 prize pool. In order to help you get a better understanding of the teams participating and help you figure out who to root for we created predictions for this time around.
1st EnVyUs
The 2nd ranked overall team in the world right now, EnVyUs are the favorites to take this tournament. They won both the NA and EU weeklies last week and came in second in the EU weekly yesterday, losing a close series to Reunited.
2nd Reunited
Nipping at the heels of EnVyUs are the current #1 ranked team in Europe, Reunited. With Cloud9 sitting this one out, Reunited and EnVyUs are 1 and 1A for this tournament, don’t be surprised if these placings flip. Champions of yesterday’s EU weekly, Reunited should make quick work of the NA bracket today.
Perennial top 4 contenders since the closed beta, Luminosity should put up a good fight today. Led by the star power of Seagull they are expected to cut through the bracket with ease, finding their only real challenges in the two teams listed above.
4th Nubris
Formerly EnVyUs, Nubris has been on an impressive run of form lately. Placing third at last week’s NA weekly and qualifying for the ONOG Operation Breakout tournament has shown that Nubris is no joke. Expect them to give the top teams a run for their money, if not beat them outright. That is, if they do actually play today.
