Gambit Gaming continues to thrive with their innovative play while Millenium figures out how to close out games following their first place finish at IEM Sao Paulo.

The second half of the LCS would kick off with an unusual team composition at the hands of Gambit Gaming, nothing unusual from the Russian squad. Gambit Gaming utilized a "double support" composition, sending Alex to the mid lane. Oddly enough, Diamondprox decided to transition away from his bruiser build on Eve in favor of a more traditional AP one, still showing that it can work after a first blood top.
As the game progressed, Diamondprox switched over to Hexdrinker, attempting to shut down the burst and vary the resistances Copenhagen Wolves would have to utilize against him. With Diamondprox's ganks, Gambit were able to keep a substantial lead the entire game. While Copenhagen Wolves put up a surprising resilience to stall out Gambit Gaming ending the game, Gambit were able to finally push their lead and force their way through inhibitors, grabbing another win and continuing their streak in the EU LCS.
SHC vs. [M]
After their victory at IEM Sao Paulo, it would appear that Millenium did not lose their momentum. Just 13 minutes in, Kerp's LeBlanc was able to one shot members of Supa Hot Crew with his early DFG, allowing them to go 8-1 and grab an easy dragon. Araneae was also able to take control over a large portion of Impaler's jungle, giving them an additional vision lead.
Millenium was able to snowball one of the most one-sided early games in this season of LCS to continue to take objectives and break the curse of their signature problem, failing to close out games. Millenium's coordination showed that they have worked on their late game, properly closing out the game and continuing to win games.
