They were the team known as Murloc Geniuses. Then they were known as Astral Authority. Now, heading into the first month of HGC 2017, they will be known as Tempo Storm.
Just moments ago, Tempo Storm revealed through Twitter that they are, once again, a part of competitive Heroes of the Storm by signing the Astral Authority roster:
The team have already qualified for the HGC and, for Tempo Storm, the pickup seems obvious. The 5-man roster was unsigned and Tempo Storm was without a team following the disappointing disbandment of their previous Tempest roster that ended the brief experiment of an all-Korean team being sponsored by an NA organization.
Now, back on their home soil, Tempo Storm has another chance at reclaiming its spot as the best team in NA, a distinction they once held without any question in the early days of competitive Heroes.
Astral Authority never had an official team captain, but it appears that with the signing by Tempo Storm, that has changed as well. Cattlepillar is officially listed as the team's captain on Tempo Storm's website and had this to say about their new organization:
The Murlocs have found a home once again and, by the looks of how excited the NA team appears to be on social media, they are prepared to fight tooth and nail to keep it.
