Chu8 My Hotdoge and Dumpster Tier Superstars Round out the North American HGC 2017

The last HGC North American Qualifier came to a close Sunday evening as the final two teams advanced to the Heroes Premier League.

This weekend was the last chance for veterans with new teams and flat out noobies to make a name for themselves going into the 2017 season.

Dumpster Tier Superstars are one of those veteran teams. They were some of the top favorites going into 2017 after their impressive run during the 2016 Fall Season. Their run to HGC 2017 has been less than amazing as it took them all three qualifiers to advance. When you look at the experience from the roster, you would think they would have qualified much much earlier. Regardless, they've made it in after not dropping a single game during this final qualifier.

Miasma esports made their name known as they made it to the quarterfinals for the first time after an impressive 2-1 win against Flamestruck and was even able to hold one game off of Vox Nihili. Vox has struggled through the previous qualifiers and was hoping to make it this time, adding roflcopter to their roster last minute. Unfortunately, they weren't able to hold of Chu8 My Hotdoge in the last matches and they were taken down 3-0.

Your North American HGC Premier League teams are:

Astral Authority
Denial eSports
Gale Force eSports
Naventic
Grandmaster Jackets
No Tomorrow
Dumpster Tier Superstars
Chu8 My Hotdoge

Teams that didn't qualify still have the chance to play in the Open Division for various prizes and the chance at ranking up and knocking out one of these teams during The Crucible in May.
