The first day of the 2016 Heroes World Championship is upon us and being streamed in 12 different languages. Tune in at 9:00 AM PDT for all the action.
The wait is nearly over and we are in the homes stretch. We are just hours away from the start of the Heroes World Championship
This was the most intense year of Heroes of the Storm to date, and plans for 2017 look even bigger. It's almost cathartic for me to think of how much competitive Heroes will be played in the next two weeks. It will be massive send off of the old Heroes esports ways (and the free-for-all it sometimes felt like) and the start of the first regular season qualifiers in November.
The first match in Group A will be between Denial eSports and Reborn. Followed by MVP Black vs. Burning Rage.

MVP Black is the clear favorite to win their match, but Denial vs Reborn might be closer than it looks. We have yet to see the NA region tested against Australia/New Zealand and Reborn have been a dominant force in that region. While Denial has the more experienced roster, it's hard to call anything in such an ever-changing meta where regions are clashing for the first time in months.
