Newest balance update reverts big buffs, tweaks underperforming heroes.

The latest patch is one of Kerrigan's strongest showings, but things should be normalized on July 27th. Her nerfs are in contrast with the slight buffs new heroes like Chromie, Medivh, and Guldan will enjoy.

Many heroes recently buffed will be reverted to a weaker state this balance update. These heroes include Brightwing, Greymane and Kerrigan. The rest of the updates are minor, but look to be steps in the right direction. Other than the slightly out of left field nerf to Nazeebo's Gargantuan, these changes all seem like a step in the right direction.

Guldan was buffed pretty significantly with more HP, regen and damage on his primary ability. These slight stat buffs don't seem like much, but it were these gradual number increases that made Kerrigan and Greymane so powerful and in need of a nerf:

GUL'DAN CHANGES

Stats

  • Base Health increased from 1650 to 1700
  • Health Regen increased from 3.44 to 3.54

Abilities

  • Fel Flame (Q)
    • Damage increased from 181 to 200

Talents

  • Level 1
    • Chaotic Energy (Passive)
      • Mana refund increased from 25 to 40
  • Level 4
    • Health Funnel (W)
      • Cooldown reduction increased from 6 to 7 seconds
  • Level 13
    • Healthstone (Active)
      • Heal amount reduced from 30 to 25% of maximum Health

Though the most fun change by far is to Medivh's portal:

MEDIVH CHANGES

Abilities

  • Portal (E)
    • Portals are now easier to click
    • The cooldown on using a Portal has been significantly reduced

We are about to enter an entire new world of Medivh madness. "significantly reduced" is a vague term that doesn't specifiy much but I have a feeling things are about to get really nutty with Medivh portals.
