The new acquired Warrior wasn't enough to keep Cloud9's Heroes squad together. Catterpillar heads back home to Brain Power.
Barely a month after leaving Brain Power to join Cloud9 for the Summer Regionals, cattlepillar has moved back to the team.
Cloud9 dropped Arthelon and added Cattlepilar in hopes of better results in the Summer Regionals. As we all know now, they fell extremely short, not even making it to the playoffs. After their defeat, Cloud9 announced it would no longer be fronting a Heroes of the Storm team, causing all players to then become free agents.
CauthonLuck announced on twitter Saturday that Brain Power would be replacing him with cattlepillar. In his statement, CauthonLuck reveals that "this was very sudden news" for him and that he has "no specifics" on his future or where he will be playing.
Brain Power has always been a threat coming at the heels of the main top teams, usually placing top 3 or 5 in just about every major tournament they've played in (with their former org, COGnitive). The move looks like an attempt to break into the winners circle and snatch up one of the strongest warriors in NA.
