While the announcement was released on April 1st, it’s no joke. Tempo Storm released a statement announcing So1dier would be leaving the team.
Tempo Storm released a statement Friday announcing the depature of another original member, So1dier. Kaeyoh will now be the last player on the team from the original Symbiote Gaming roster.
TS has had up and down roster changes since the Fall with the departure of Zuna, Arthelon and Dreadnaught. They debuted their new roster with Zixz, Goku and Srey at Heroes Rising in January. Since then their one and only obstacle has been their (and everyone else's) North American rival, Cloud9, losing to them at Heroes Rising semi-finals, Enter the Storm Playoffs and Spring Regional semi-finals.
So1dier’s statement in the announcement doesn’t confirm whether or not he will be looking for another team to join, but says he will be starting to get deeper into streaming.
With two North American qualifiers for the first Summer Regional just one week away, Tempo Storm assures they WILL be competing.
”We would like to confirm that, yes, we will be competing to qualify for the North American regional, and for our shot at a piece of the $500,000 summer global championship prize pool at DreamHack Summer in Sweden.”
