More tournaments and bigger prize pools continue to make 2016 the biggest year for competitive Heroes of the Storm.

With the Spring Championships just weeks away, Blizzard has just recently announced the latest in their 4 million dollar tournament plan, where over $1.2 million dollars are on the line.

Similar to the Spring championship, hundreds of teams will compete for a chance to represent their respective regions. 12 spots are up for grabs with the final tournament coming to and end at DreamHack Summer in Jönköping, Sweden. During this final leg of the tournament, teams will compete for the lions share of the $500,000 USD prize pool.

An additional $100,000 USD was added for both North America and Europe, with the winners of all four regional events across North America and Europe
