After making it to the finals in almost every tournament they've competed in, Resurgence makes changes dropping Daihuu and picking up Fury as a tank.
Resurgence recently announced they have released Daihuu from their roster and picked up former Murloc Geniuses player, Fury.
Daihuu was released right after the North American Spring Regional Qualifier Sunday, then barely a day the team announced they would be picking up Fury. The quick turn around most likely to do with the roster locks in place for Regional qualifiers.
Fury formerly played with Murloc Geniuses until he was released from the team right before their split. No surprise he was picked up however, he showed great success with the team subbing for Daihuu in the Enter the Storm Qualifier #3 helping the team win the qualifier against COGnitive.
Resurgence has made some notable waves since their breakout in Enter the Storm Qualifier #2 just a couple of weeks ago, making it to the finals in that and every other qualifier they’ve played in. Unfortunately in all 3 qualifiers they have fallen to other teams. They also just barely qualified for North American Spring Regionals but fell short, losing to COGnitive in their qualifying game.
No word where Diahuu might try to play next, but he will be staying in the scene, stating in his TwitterLonger:
