Sylvanas is a bit of a niche pick, and Arthas is a rare sight, but could anyone of predicted Artanis?
Two teams named after Monkeys almost qualified for Katowice today. The Sandwhich Monkey came just shy of taking a qualifying spot, which must be frustrating considering how close they were to qualifying last week as well. Meanwhile, Monkeys of the Storm was just 1 victory away from qualifying them selves, an achievement that would of made headlines considering they are a virtually unknown team.
However, both primate powered teams fell to more recognizeable names. Virtus.Pro and Na'Vi won the qualifiying spots, both going 2-1 against their respective opponent in the finals. The hero compositions we saw were decidedly "EU", featuring hero picks and ban priorites that would make most NA fans scratch their heads. Artanis

These type of picks and bans seperated VP and Na'Vi from the rest of the tournament, and they were rewarded with Katowice qualification.
