G2 esports releases Heroes team after all members plan to quit

Saturday, G2 announced they are releasing their Heroes of the Storm team due to all players wanting to quit the team.?

The statement points out that all players were planning on leaving the team at the end of the year, forcing the organization to drop their Heroes division completely.

We reached out to Piotr "Nicker" Muzolf for further comment about the members prior plans to depart.
"We were thinking about that for a few months already. We didn't fit together good enough and our communication was sometimes terrible because of that, but we stayed together because we always had some upcoming events. End of 2015 was perfect time for changes and we decided to not struggle anymore together. We handled our problems for as long as we could, we were oldest HotS team I believe, but that's the end of the route for us."

The same roster has been with the team since it expanded to Heroes in March, back when the organization was Gamers2. They excelled quickly early on, placing in the top 3 in just about every major event they participated in, but started to go downhill in tournaments later in the year.

They only won two out of their last 12 matches and haven't played since WCA in December where they lost 0-2 to MVP Black.

This by no means is the end of the players' competitive careers. After the announcement, Oskar "Jowe" Halamus tweeted he was considering creating a team himself.

Nicker told us he wasn't interested in Jowe's supposed new team, but there is no bad blood between any of the former teammates.
"We didn't discuss about his new team. For now all I can say is that I am looking for a new team to rule 2016. I am interested in fresh enviroment for sure, but I hold no grudge with my former teammates. I think there would be no problem to team up with 2-3 new guys and one or maybe even two my former teammates."

Bartosz "Szychu" Kosmacz assured that he will be a free agent and that Lukasz "Leofromkorea" Mirek and Emanuel "Baczek" Bak are playing with 3 new players from League of Legends.
Leo & Baczek teamed up with Jokieez, p3rm, and Potiboss to form Polish Power and Leo and participated in Enter the Storm European Qualifiers #7 on Sunday.
