Fragbite Masters to host their first Heroes tournament

We are seeing more and more parties entering the Heroes of the Storm scene, both in terms of team sponsors, and event organizers. Fragbite has announced their first Heroes of the Storm tournament kicking off next week.

Fragbite Masters is entering the Heroes of the Storm scene with an eight-team online tournament. Known mostly for their CS:GO events, the organization has decided to expand their reach. In this introductory tournament, eight european teams will be competing for a prize pool of around $8,700 USD. Four of the eight teams will have to qualify through open qualifiers, which are still open to register in.

The open qualifiers will be played on November 10th and 11th in a Bo1 format for the most part. The top two teams of Qualifier #1 and Qualifier #2 will join the invited teams in the group stage.

The other four invited teams, are true EU power houses. Team Liquid, with their new roster, and G2 will be half of Group A. Dignitas and Na'Vi, both of which are currently playing at the World Championships, are the first two teams of Group B. These teams will be playing in a GSL format Bo3 group stage on the 12th and 17th of November. The top 2 of each group will then continue through to the Playoffs where the semi-finals and finals will be played on November 18 and November 19 respectively.

We will keep an eye out for the Open Qualifier winners, and will report on the groups when they are finalized.
