Blizzard is a company with so many universes that they love to throw in easter eggs whenever they can. But what MFPallytime found in Overwatch seems more like a precursor to another hero entering the game.
As some of you may know, Blizzard has been able to provide new heroes to the game every 3-4 weeks since releasing Heroes of the Storm officially. Because of this schedule, we often hear about new heroes a while before they actually get added to the game. For instance, Artanis was announced way back in August and was officially released only last week.
This means it is very weird that Blizzard has managed to keep their mouths shut on whoever will come after Artanis. BlizzCon is of course coming, and it is understandable that Blizzard wants to surprise the community as much as possible during the various panels, but has Blizzard really been able to keep themselves from adding hints here and there? MFPallytime has come to a discovery that makes us think not.
In this video, MFPallytime from TGN Squadron walks through the map Hanamura in Overwatch pointing out a variety of easter eggs. The moment we want to focus on starts at around 1 minute 10 seconds. After showing an arcade machine with the name Fighters of the Storm, Pally moves through the arcade to show the fictional sequel: Fighters of the Storm 2. While Fighters of the Storm shows a battle between Tyrael and Tychus, two heroes that are already part of the game, FotS 2 shows us a heated battle between Kerrigan and... Garrosh Hellscream!
Garrosh Hellscream is a very popular character in the Warcraft universe, and it is not unthinkable that he will eventually get added to Heroes of the Storm. But with speculation of getting at least four new heroes announced at Blizzcon, we are expecting at least one of them to be Garrosh.
