The remaining members of the team, with the new addition of former compLexity member Mcintyre, will be playing as the new team Based God FMB
Revealed during the third playday of the ESL NA Majors Summer League, the members are now playing under the team named Based God FMB. It is still unknown whether or not Cloud9 dropped sponsorship of the team, or if the team members decided to part ways on their own accord.
In hindsight, a move like this seemed inevitable. Ever since Fan left Vortex to compete for Maelstrom, the team's performance has suffered, eventually dropping off all together. Things are looking up for the team however, as a 5th member was found in the former compLexity player, Mcintyre. This new NA team with loads of experience and a lot to prove might forshadow some serious upsets.
