Enter the Storm Cup #3 returns with an increased $10,000 prize pool

Nine qualifiers plus eight of the top EU teams seeded from Cup #2 promise to deliver the biggest competitive Storm in the series yet.

Alienware, ROCCAT  and GosuGamers team up again to bring the third cup in the Enter the Storm tournament series. The last two cups tested the best that EU had to offer in a grueling series of qualifiers. The result was a main event filled with some seriously talented teams competing for a $5,000 prizepool and a slew of great hardware.

Now, we bring back eight of these teams to compete up against eight new ones. All for double the stakes.

Enter the Storm Cup #3 - $10,000

  • 9 open qualifiers that each reward points will take place. Each qualifier also rewards $100 to the 1st place team
  • The top 8 teams with most points gathered at the end of all qualifiers will advance to the 16-team double elimination group stage
  • The 16-team group stage will consist of 8 pre-seeded teams from Cup #2 and 8 teams that qualified through points
  • These 16 teams will be narrowed down to the 8 final teams that will compete in the main event
  • See expanded rules here

The tournament will be hosted and covered on www.gosucup.com. There, you can always find the full rules and tournament information, as well as news coverage, VODs, replays and more.

The best teams in EU will be competing in this event, but the nine open qualifiers give new and upcoming teams the perfect opportunity to test their skills, gather points and reach the top. Like previous Enter the Storm tournaments, this is a chance to break big into competitive Heroes and be on the forefront of the first generation of Heroes of the Storm proplayers.

Each of the nine qualifiers will be open to any team with accounts on Battle.net Europe. Registration dates, tournament rules and other information for said qualifiers can also be found on www.gosucup.com.
