This marks the second Korean team to be picked up by a Chinese sponsor.
Just recently, Team DK has announced their recruitment of Team No Limit. With both teams planning on competing in Chinese tournaments under the Team DK banner, NA fans might be reminded of the dynamic between Cloud 9 Maelstrom and Vortex . The team is already active in the Chinese pro scene with all members of Team No Limit currently competing in the Gold Series Hero league. Currently ranked 10 on our global rankings system, Team No Limit has been on a small winning streak as of late and continues to perform well in tournaments.
The recruitment of Team No Limit by Team DK is the second Korean team to be picked up by Chinese sponsors. The first was Team Asia Star Dust who was picked up by Team Snake in June. The competitive Korean Heroes of the Storm scene is still relatively small when compared to China's, so there's a good chance we might be seeing more of these acquisitions in the future.
