Gamers2 trying out new players

Gamers2 has announced that they will be benching Adrian “adrd” Wójcik and Oskar “Jowe” Halamus to try out new players.

After their defeat to ASH in the MSI MGA Championship qualifiers, Gamers2 has decided to mix up their roster. Gamers2 manager has stated that "...for the first time, we felt the real taste of defeat... We cannot hide the sadness that we felt after the match mainly due to the last game, a defeat for which only one player is to blame. We play every match as a team, so mistakes are made by the team as a whole, but unfortunately in this case it was all down to just one player."

“As of today, Oskar “Jowe” Halamus and Adrian “adrd” Wojcik are benched. In the next few days, we will see whether these two players have brought what is expected of them to the table. This is not an easy decision; in fact, this is one of the worst moments for a manager who has to decide what is best for the team, but some things need to be done and some steps need to be taken. Our final decision, whether we change one or two players or stick to the current roster, will be announced no later than Friday..."

We have seen something similar to this in the NA scene with C9 Maelstrom switching up their roster after losing to Tempo Storm. Hopefully G2 will be able to take a good look their roster, get everything sorted, and come back swinging. They have been one of the top teams in Europe since late March and I don't imagine they're willing to let that go without a fight.
