Team Liquid defeats Gamers2 in to win Dreamhack All-Stars 2015

The European powerhouse went undefeated vs Gamers2 both in the winners bracket and in the grand finals.

Team Liquid is without a doubt the most powerful EU team in Heroes of the Storm. Their back to back wins of Enter the Storm Cup #2 and now, with Dreamhack All-stars depict a team who's flexibility and game sense is unparalleled.

Against Gamers2, Team Liquid took full advantage of the newly implemented double-ban system that was used in the tournament to hold monopoly over dedicated healers, picking Malfurion and Uther while banning Brightwing and Rehgar. In other matches, when Kael'Thas was available, he was masterfully played by FalcoN and placed in a team that protected him easily. Illidan, Johanna, and the Lost Vikings creates so much chaos in the battlefield, that it's hard to ever get the jump on a carefully position Kael'thas wrecking havoc to the enemy team.

Gamers2 had a solid enough gameplay: respect the power of Sylvanas and try to pick her as much as possible while banning known heroes that Team Liquid excells with, Like Zeratul and Brightwing. The problem with this strategy, lies in Team Liquids flexibility and individual player strength. Each member of Team Liquid makes highlight reel worthy plays every game, and in an attempt to ban away or counter pick key heroes they excell at, you just leave another powerful hero you can't avoid. Ban Blackscorp's Zeratul and you just have to face his Illidan.

Congratulations to Team Liquid on the win! EU teams have a clear obstacle to beat moving forward, and only time will tell if Team Liquid will even meet their match.
