Along with Dota 2, Crossfire and Hearthstone leagues, Heroes will be the fourth league run by WCA this year.
World Cyber Arena, a North America-based eSports organization, announced they will be hosting a Pro League for Heroes of the Storm. So far, details are scant, no teams have been announced nor tournament structure. What we do know is, there will be a Professional qualifying stage from May 11th - 13th, and LAN finals (at ESL studios in California) on June 1st-2nd. There appears to be a seperate open qualifying tournament planned in June.
The tournament will be a substantial prize pool with $10,000 for first and $5,000/$2,000 for second and third/fourth respectively.
Stay tuned as more details are announced on structure and participants.
