Who were the top ranked Heroes teams in March?

March has been a very busy month of Heroes. The prize pools have gotten bigger, the amount of tournaments have increased, and rightly so, the competition has too. We have redoubled our efforts and placed an increase focus on keeping up with the growing scene. We know things are only going to get bigger and more exciting for Heroes moving forward, our goal is to provide a global ranking with similar accuracy and relevance as seen in our other game sections. This list may change drastically next week but, if it does, it will be accurately representing the growth and volatile nature of a relatively new games scene.

But enough about us, let's talk about these teams:

# 1 Cloud9 Maelstrom

After a 2nd place finish in Titan Arena II losing out to coL.Heroes, Cloud 9 Maelstrom went on to dominate the ESL Heroes Major League. They even settled the score against coL.Heroes defeating them in decisive fashion. On the back of iDream's impressive Lost Vikings and a willingness to stray from the establish pick order with heroes like Sonya and most recently Tyrael, Cloud 9 Maelstrom proves a resilient foe that often seems to win during the draft portion of the game. Their lineup is k1pro, iDream, KingCaffeine, DunkTrain, and Biceps.

#2 Team Tomorrow Big

What the current #1 ranked EU team is lacking in sleek team logo (that is apparently inspired by a LoL incident) they make up for in Heroes skill. I interviewed their team captain Splendour after their win at our very own Enter the Storm Qualifiern#2 and, after talking strategy with him, the teams position on this list does not surprise me. TTB has all of the markings of a classically top tier team, managing to keep their understanding of the game always one step ahead of their competition. In the month of March, TTB lost 2 matches out of 24 competitive matches which is pretty incredible. Their team consist of Cilium, CurriBoii, ethernalbg, Schimpi, Wubby, and Splendour.

# 3 Tempo Storm

Tempo Storm is why teams ban Illidan so frequently. In the hands of So1dier, the angry night elf takes on a dominating appearance many teams attempt to emulate but just can't. Tempo Storm has already proven its place as a top tier esports organization through Hearthstone, and is poised to create a similar fan base and reputation with Heroes. As of now, the only team standing in their way is Cloud 9 Maelstrom. Tempo Storm have beaten them in the past, but seem to have a weakness to some of Cloud 9 Maelstroms current innovations, most notably The Lost Vikings. Their team consist of Dreadnaught, Arthelon, So1dier, Kaeyoh, and Glaurung.
